WOODLEY C. THOMPSON

Bishop Dr. Woodley C. Thompson is a distinguished leader, scholar, and minister dedicated to faith and service. With a Doctorate in Dental Surgery, a Masters in Religion, and a PhD in Theology, his academic journey spans globally renowned institutions like Howard University, Oxford University, and the University of Birmingham.

A passionate visionary, Bishop Thompson pioneered the Church of God of Prophecy’s Lifeline TV program, initiated district scholarships for high school graduates, and organized the historic Pentecost Prayer Parade in 2023. He has served as National Radio and TV Minister for 14 years and is the District Supervisor for New Providence Zone 1.

Beyond ministry, he is an accomplished orthodontist and former President of the Bahamas Dental Association. He and his wife, Verneque, share a deep commitment to education, leadership, and family, raising their three children, Luke-Kennedy, Mark-Anthony, and Zaylie-Elizabeth.
